Tucked away at the base of Unaka Mountain, Rock Creek Recreation Area serves as a natural refuge where artists can paint under a cooling canopy of ancient hemlocks, towering oaks, and vibrant rhododendrons. The site offers a serene, “deep woods” feel with sounds of flowing water, bird song and the movement of your brush.
